Deadliest Warriors showed that a Katana can cut right through about, 3 or so pig bodies, one skull isn't much.

the best part of Deadliest Warrior was clearly the "Medieval Combat Expert" (A title which I someday hope to attain) demonstrating the effectiveness of the Morning Star flail.

They built an anatomically correct correct human head and torso, filled it with a skull, blood and brains, and then this guy came in and completely ruined it's day with one swing.

It literally blew the thing's head open, sending brains flying all over the back wall. As if this weren't enough, it literally ripped the face off, leaving only a bloody skull. I have never seen a weapon own something quite so epically. See for yourselves

your average person would not be able to replicate this with a katana, it takes quite some skill to use it properly.
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

These isn't real people, these are minifigs, pretty sure that a samurai minifig or any minifig for that matter, can use a Katana properly.

Heck, all sorts of swords can cut through bodies, deadliest warrior is testament to that.

Although, they should get some real ninja experts, and WTF on knight with crossbow?

I was kinda disappointed about the Viking vs Samurai one, the Viking depicted was obviously the village downs-syndrome patient, he didn't even know how to throw a spear... :(
