Last night I worked tirelessly for 6 hours to create this ship. It was built in one night but I think it pwns anyway. So, yea no Death Battle update right now because I spent my time on this thing lol.

This is an old Assyrian light frigate, called Rhett Butler's Revenge. It was decommissioned and is now in service with a private owner. The ship is 68 studs long, making it shorter than the AC and not even half the length of the Longinus IV-B. Just a little perspective for you there.

The ship isn't too special... But it's pretty fast thanks to all of its engines.

The front of the ship is an angled trapezoidal shape. It looks cooler in real life.

And here's the bottom... Pretty nondescript.

But that changes the second you open the cargo doors!! This old frigate is really actually Palomar's pirate vessel. People may have wondered why, if Palomar's a Space Pirate, he didn't have a ship to raid with... Well, now he does. The pirates can open the cargo bay doors to deploy the phase cannon and use the doors as platforms from which to attack unsuspecting ships.

It also comes with a little support craft so that they can have some mobility in space if they can't get right next to their target.

But that cannon is not the only weapon hidden on this ship...

The front opens to reveal 8 MK III Torpedoes and a foreward-mounted light laser cannon emplacement. This probably isn't enough to deter meddling space police forces, but the pirates are all about attacking unarmed civilian ships, not military vessels.

Here the side panel is removed so you can see the missiles.

The pilot's station. Palomar will fly the ship from here. Right now he's stuck in the Death Battle so he couldn't be in the photo shoot.

What self-respecting space pirate wouldn't have a gun room? This room is behind the cargo bay.

And finally, the engine room. A mechanik pirate is working on the engine to achieve optimum output.

There's the whole ship exploded. I hope y'all liked it!!

What does Rhett Butler have to do with this?
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Wow, I'm stunned. You've just won Capt Palomar's affections. Wonderful, simply fantastically awe inspiringly awesome. How many cut throats can she hold? Is there any room for a tractor beam array and grapple assembly? (Sorry, I hate suggestions so feel free to tell me where to get off).

bit small for a space ship, think about it, space ships need
6:food storage/growing areas
7:big engines to be able to travel between planets in less than a year
8: large fuel storage same reason as above
9:sleeping areas
10:control areas
11:lists shouldent go past 10
12:recreation areas
13:docking ports
to me even your longinus is a very very small frigate.
"some people are like slinkies there really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs"
"Triangalism! What's the fuckin' point!"
How's that compression ratio?

You've really outdone yourself this time Natalya, that support craft is easily your coolest and most ingenious fighter yet.
I bet you built this super epic ship just to hold that little piece of win.

Wow, nitpicker. It's a ship in space. Therefore it's a space ship.

Well, if you will remember he was a confederate blockade runner during the war. So, this would be an homage to him since it serves a similar purpose.

The minifigs on board would carry grappling hooks and such. I need to add a harpoon cannon but I'm not sure how.

Thx Tuna. I wanted to add like chains and guns all over it and such to make it more like menacing, but then at the same time having an unsuspecting ship would also make sense because then the space cops or the military wouldn't be all over it the second they saw it.

Tathing, this ship is meant for raids, not sustained habitation. Palomar would fly it out of his hidden asteroid base and attack the space lanes, securing the booty in the cargo hold and then return to base. At most they'd be out in space for 3 days (going star system to star system) since the ship has a warp drive.

Thx Ecabob. It was actually an afterthought -- more of a "Oh shit, I can't find any grappling hooks. I need to give them some way of getting across large gaps between ships." So I built that little thing.

Yeah, I've actually never seen that book/movie.

Nevertheless that thing is amazing. I might just have to steal it, if you don't mind.
But anyways amazing job with the ship. In a lot of ways I like this a lot better than your cruiser because it isn't ridiculously huge and could actually be swooshed and played with. Once again great job!

Yea the size makes it a lot more playable. Also, its more easy access since I can just remove wall panels so it would be great for a Brick War. That and the halls aren't ridiculously narrow.

I like the fact you made this a covert instead of an overt Pirate Ship. Like the Q-Ships (Freighters that still looked like freighters but that were armed to the teeth in order to blast any Pirate Raiders). that sailed the shipping lanes looking for Pirates now we have the hidden Pirate. Captain Palomar is a crafty ol' space dog. The grapples? Best I've seen are claws for the Exo-Force Power Armour. It's big but it may be possible to un-embiggen it, I dunno.

Very well done, love the "dropshippy" feel to it
