ill look forward to following this. id like to make a rule set to handle the minifig scale ships. beacause 5 hp is the best any vehicle can do right now and i don't think it truly reaflects the awesomeness of a ship let alone the firepower that can be leveled upon one from another.

You're welcome to join in on future games! Also, if you want to help in the creation of mine, you can come in and help here. Hope to hear from you there!

Nice, I look forward to the mission where a task force of cruisers and destroyers ambush a flagship.

Also are we going to get any fighters for this game or are we limited to the big boys?

Certainly not! Go hog-wild with the fighters if you want to, just keep in midn that you need a larger ship with a cargo bay to hold 'em.

Oh, that reminds me, I need to formulate the rules on releasing and taking back fighters. Simple, but it still needs to be written down somewhere.

Irdofbricks, you can change your list again if you want. I see you have no fighters, and I just realized how much it looked like you actually couldn't take any. Go ahead and put in fighters if you want to.

Also, I'm thinking the campaign will involve the three factions already involved, plus one more. I have two ships for them, but idk what to do with them exactly, and I don't have enough white to any more of them. maybe they'll be a mysteriously overpowered race with only two ships that you'll have to destroy to save a planet or something. Still formulating the details :)

Awesome! The main problem with TheBlackDog's battle was it (for the most part) was just a bunch of awesome and superpowered ships shooting at each other instead of the chaos of having fighters slipping through your main lines and your fighters scrambling to counter them in epic and brikwarsy dogfights.

Also what exactly counts in the max Cp value? Obviously the guns cargo bays and shields all do but what about the engines and the fighters? Do they count too?

Yes. But Fighters count as separate ships, just essentially bought in bulk. Fighters do NOT count towards your larger ships total, even if they reside in that ship's cargo bay. They are separate entities for the purposes of point totals.

That's what I'm here for :)

Also, go ahead and give your ships names, flesh out some backstory. As players, I feel YOU should be running most of the story, especially histories behind each of the factions and stuff. Make them as silly or as utterly serious as you want, but it'd be great to have a cool storyline going. Also, if I get nice backhistories, then maybe I'll be more able to tailor the stories to the factions.

And I plan to start this game officially on Monday (in three days).

You're fine. Not starting until Monday, you have time. If you like you can pick a co-captain like Almight Benny, for when you wanna take a few days off :)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Benny is enjoying letting me typing away trying to make the stats as he leans back in the captain's chair and laughs evilly.

Speaking of said stats, I'll be sending you ours soon.
