Personal Army across multiple Tek Levels
This semi-serious question is for all of you who have a "custom" standing army.
How do you address multiple Tek Levels, if you do?
Do you rearm the same troops?
Do you rebuild the troops with different torsos and helmets?
For example, do the 501st Cadians have a low Tek level horse-mounted cavalry?
Do the Black Falcons have micro-grav Space Marine squads?

The Horses are just a mode of transportation. They are supposed to be Rough Riders. Tek Level is pretty Much the same.ColourSchemer wrote:This semi-serious question is for all of you who have a "custom" standing army.

If you really have to use Tek Levels, I would say just go unit by unit
That guy has night vision goggles, so he looks to be at least TL4, but that guy has no shirt and a steel helmet, so let's put him at TL 1 or 2. A squad would only have a TL as high as the dumbest member of the squad, because a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.

I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...

Ah, no I didn't make myself clear. I'll try again.
Folks around here have 'Sig Armies', right? Their own personal faction.
So do those folks only play games with teknologically equal opponents?
Or do they mow down poor castlers with their heavy bolters?
Or do they stick some axes and swords in the hands of their space heros?
Or do they rebuild the troops to look timeline accurate?
Hope that makes more sense, if not then let the battle begin:
