Sacrilege! Buying Lego is never a waste of money!

Yeah it was pricey, but I had $30 worth of coupons from the store. I got it mainly to see how it's built, I'm gonna eventually cannibalize her and build her into something better.
Pfft, it's built almost exactly like the Imperial Star Destroyer was. I could see that from the pictures in the catalog. I cannibalized the I.S.D. a couple years ago. It wasn't worth repairing after the move.

I just ordered parts to make 10 more of my orange Assyrian soldiers along with armaments and equipment for them. (Equipment = oxygen tanks and helmets like usual.) But I also ordered 6 other guys to complete a new squad I've been working on... You'll just have to see it when it's completed. ;0

Just exactly what do you need to make Assyrian's and how much does each minifig upgrade cost, say if you wanted to do a Forum Battle against some Peaches?

The regular Orange Assyrian guys need black legs, black oxygen tanks, white helmets, trans-blue visors, and then all their guns (except heavy bolters) are built from different arrangements of a black round 1x1, a black space gun//camera thing, and a black space pistol//megaphone thing. That way I can instantly re-configure their weapons to re-outfit the squad without digging for parts.

Hmm, interesting. Okay, thanks. I'll also have a look around for some more pics and see if I have the parts to copy them properly, just for future use. Maybe.

I take it you would be up for a forum game using your own inventions?

Anyway, sorry for the hi-jack, back on topic.

8038 - The Battle Of Endor was just bought fairly recently.

I went to the Lego Store in Natick, Massachusetts last month and got a couple of the bigger pick-a-brick containers, some other little things, 5 impulse sets, Gold Tooth's Getaway, some street plates, a green plate, and a large grey plate.

i just got the pirate raft thingy, its kinda bad, but it has tons(about 21) of 2x2 brown round pieces for its price, its an ok set, but i cannibalized it shortly after building it.
i used parts of it to upgrade my brick-beards bounty(hopefully to be taken over by captain roger red-beard unless i make a custom captain)

I got all of these while I was on vacation in Toronto and I am using the city corner to make another capitol ship for the Space Commies.

EDIT: I think that this thread should be stickied.

How can you make a whole ship with a city corner? Even if you did, there aren't that many useful parts for a ship.

Yes.

But seriously, he does have a point. It's kind of small for making a capitol ship, unless the capitol ship is small.

Of course I have a point. Although some people have no point, and thus must be put in the tiger pit.

I think he means he is
a) making a communist pizza delivery craft
b) using the black slopes and red briks
c) using the small parts for stuff

a) is most likely.

b is right and I guess I forgot to mention that I am using my other red and black bricks too.
