OneEye's post-apocalyptic cars.

Post by OneEye589 » Mon Sep 28, 2009 6:36 pm

I didn't feel like resizing the pictures, so here are the links. Don't post the pictures in the thread because they're very large. All stats are also 2005 rules.

This is the first one, a blue Cadillac or something with a mounted machine gun for the passenger and a couple rocket pods instead of a backseat. It started as me trying to make an MGB, but those are just too small to make minifig-scale.

This is the second one that I made from that little sports car set that Lego makes. It has two gatling guns on the front and two rocket launchers in the back.

ok first one is very blocky and has to many rough edges also the color is all out of wack. Second one does not look anything close to a real car, and its to thin. Also both cars have way to bright colors for "post apoc" era sorry for being lazy in my first review will try harder to state just was is yuck next time.

The first one is based around a Cadillac, which are very blocky to begin with. I don't know what you mean for "out of whack" with the color. I used red and dark red pieces for rust and black and grey for metal.

The second one is an actual Lego set that I modified. It's not my fault it doesn't look like a real car.

They are both the regular colors of the cars with other stuff tacked on which is just as post-apoc as an all brown or grey vehicle.

Not all post-apoc cars have to be plate metal.

Thanks for the input anyway.

That's plate metal over the windows on that car you just posted j+b, and a lot of post-apoc vehicles are shown with plate metal enforced sides. That's why they don't have the original color of the car.

While the first one is a little boxy, I commend your use of SNOT.

Post-Apoc cars don't have to be bland colours but most are because it's asumed that after years of rusting and peeling in junkyards in deserts, most cars would be like that. That and most have armour plating.

I'm liking that people are making post apoc creations, and I like the blue car alot.
