Vesta Death Bikes
These hoverbikes are used by Assyrian infantry to provide a light mobile unit to their ground forces. The hoverbikes are versatile, and can fly in zero gravity environments as well as above the surface of a planet or space platform.

The Vestas were inspired by Vol Warpig heavy bikes. Although not quite as brutish as those, the Vestas are just as quick, and more maneuverable since they can just fly over obstacles or difficult terrain.

Here's a view from behind. Sticking off to the left of each bike is the driver's Heavy Laser Rifle, stowed so that they can pilot the bikes. However if they need to dismount they will still be armed.

From a build perspective, I wanted a hoverbike, and I wanted it based off the tricycle body since I have a number of them. When I was younger I liked playing with those, but having a flying version is infinitely cooler. Though, it did take me about an hour to flesh out the design. It's hard to base something off of the trike bodies.

Vestas are called in to aid beleaguered Assyrian forces. Coming from behind they are able to take the Czechs by surprise.

Love 'em! Perhaps in the future, if I get some trike bodies, I'll build some.
Though really, I could probably just use the trikes.

Then do it. And post pics.

Though the Assyrians have ground stuff I just figured it'd make more sense to have them be hoverbikes than just generic trikes. It goes with their theme better.

Oh, totally. But we've the opposite problem - hover bikes, while awesome, don't quite fit the tech level of most of our designs.

more like this:
Srsly though, they look like hares in mid-hop.
They're meant to be light, fast flanking bikes right? If so, rabbits would be a good theme for a squad name, bunnies if they're all biker chicks.

I like them, it's a good use of parts that I've been pondering what the hell to do with.
Thanks Taufish, now I can only see them as jumping hares too.

That's scary. I was about to make something like this. Will have to change them, or I will look unoriginal.

I guess I can see that now. Maybe the front guns help make it like that.
Also, check out the new Bikes page on the Wiki.

Awesome page. The page said that the Warpig had a cannon, but it actually has a GL, I fixed it, and like I said Awesome page.
