TH-37 "Thraex" Light Battle Tank

Post by RoC77 » Mon Dec 14, 2009 4:24 pm

The new replacement for the cheaply made T-150's. The TH-37 "Thraex" Light Battle Tank is designed using the attributes of both the "Gladiator" Main Battle Tank & the BMP. Larger than the T-150, the "Thraex" carries a larger main gun & heavier armor. But it is still small enough to be loaded aboard a attack cruiser.

Yea, try making more black details throughout your stuff RoC. You use it a bit, but you could definitely use it throughout your creations even more.

Still amazing as always.

Thanks for the input fellas, the wedges are to match the larger Gladiator tank, I'm still mulling over what I want in the front. And I am trying to use a bit more black, I have a little bit more on the next vehicle I'm posting up.

Looks good
I like the colour balance. The only thing I would change is the colour of
the 5x3 Technic beams. Mabe Black or Dark Grey.

how's the track motion, better or worse than the IJ Jungle Cutter ?
stop killing me! ;-)

I like the black wedges, not the red lights on the back, they don't go with the blue spotlight on the turret gun.

I was just lucky enough to have 4 of the same color 5x3's, the Toad has 2 different colored pairs. And the track motion is alot better, it's designed with enough slack that it will roll on even the slickest surfaces. And has a higher clearance to cover rougher terrain.

The back is the break lights & the blue piece on the turret is the guncam...

Beautiful work Roc. How many banks have you had to rob to afford all this?

I don't know how much I spent so far, but it was quite a lot, I've been curbing my spending for the past few months though. I was lucky enough to be able to build a pair of these with the parts I had on hand and didn't have to order any pieces.

Have you considered replacing those black wedges with white ones so they look like teeth? and then adding eyes or something so it looks like a tank with a face?
