[OOC: You guys can't grasp that by posting new rules, your older rules are automatically nullified.]

No one on this page has actually stated they have posted a new rule, so they have not been cancelled out. However guys, you realise players have to agree on a rule, eg Stubby has to have seen them?

booty bothered, if you're going to edit your submission, better do it quick. Lucky for you no one's made a rule against editing submissions.

Magic Soap, I'm not sure how to track the realtime fluctuation of Colonial Shillings. Where can I find this information?

Also, it doesn't have to be a rule, any type of modification can cancel out a previous modification. For instance, making a player live in a bucket.

All right, since no one has limited my powers as an Admin yet, I'm granting myself the authority to give minor bonuses to people when their modifications accomplish the following:
  • 6. giving defaults for choices where I would otherwise have to wait for player input, i.e. what to do when winning a battle or landing on an unowned wilderness square
    7. making the rules simpler and easier to understand
    8. making me lol
    9. setting up a better system for approving rules than waiting for Admin fiat

A modification to my rule: I now use Zimbabwean Dollars

1 US dollar = 356.350 Zimbabwe

Modification: I live in a popemobile. The pope is not in it, I just carjacked it.

booty bothered wrote:New Rule:
When a player's turn orders are not specified, the default turn order is to:
Move Forward
Enter Combat
If monster is defeated, heal 1 health nom (not to exceed max) and purchase space (if player has enough money).
End turn

booty bothered's turn orders:
Move forward
Enter Combat
If I am victorious, gain 1 max health.
Purchase space (booty bothered's color to indicate ownership is pink. Preferably a sparkly pink, like the pink glitter dice/legos!)
The end.
Approved as rule 36. booty bothered gets a bonus $2 from the Admin for creating defaults.

booty bothered rolls a 4 and moves forward to square 6. Here, she battles a living food creature of skill 6. She rolls 7+5 for 12; it rolls 3+6 for 9. booty bothered defeats the creature and increases her maximum health. She now has 5/6 noms of health.

booty bothered purchases square 6 for $6 and receives legal documents. She has $146 remaining.
OneEye589 wrote:Rule: Each player's modification to the rules at the start of their turn is limited to creating only one rule that can include additions (shown by bullet points) or making additions to another rule. If the modification would result in several rules being created at once, only the first rule can be accepted and the remaining are automatically nullified.
This is confusing, but approved as rule 37. Whether or not a modification constitutes one or multiple rules is currently left to Admin interpretation. Also I should not that, as written, this rule only applies to modifications to the rules, and not to modifications of the board or the players or any other part of the game.

OneEye587 rolls a 2 and proceeds to space 4, "Cupcake Tree," owned by Tzan. Here he encounters a cupcake from the cupcake tree. OneEye587 rolls 9+5 for 14; the cupcake rolls 2+4 for 6 and is defeated easily. OneEye589 heals one nom, which does him no good since he's already at his 5/5 max.

Ah, my install just finished, so back to work. (And by "work" I mean playtesting video games until lunchtime.) To be continued...

My Turn: Move to Pr0n Faktory. Produce a beautiful woman. Any player that attempts to move through my square is subjected to following: Roll a dice. On (Admin to pick a fair number) the player may pass. Anything lower, the player must stay with said woman for 1 turn.

New rule: Snakes and Ladders are introduced to the board.

[Is it game day? We did game day once a week but not every week. Twice we had competitions, the winner got a $20 gift card to BestBuy.

Out of 30-40 people I came in second both times and the same guy won both. It was very close, really. The second time he gave me the gift card. He was way too nice. :)

Have fun at "work"]

now wearing several hats and 3d goggles
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

Lunchtime, so here's a couple more:
Tzan wrote:Rule:
A player cannot simply walk from space 99 to 100.

A special form of transportaion is required. The transportation system does not need to be located at space 99.

Stay
Build a shop called Cutleries [cost is 14 I believe, 4+10]
The shop sells +1 Battle Sporks, these are weapons that add +1 to combat rolls.

The price for these items is 20
Approved as rule 38. Space 100 is now "Mordor."

Tzan builds the shop "Cutleries" at "Cupcake Tree" for $14, and receives a second set of legal documents. Since there is only room in his inventory for one item, this new set of legal documents goes into his weapon slot. He now has $135.

The "Cutleries" shop sells +1 Battle Sporks for $20.
jophfy wrote:Edit to rule 24: You can only buy 1 solder at certain shops who will help you in combat against a living food creature.

Movement: Forward
If victory is achieved: Gain 1 overall health nom.
After combat purchase space if possible.
Approved as rule 39. Players are now limited to one solder of this type.

Jophy rolls a 6 and moves forward to square 8, where he faces a deadly living food creature of skill 8. Jophy rolls 2+5 for 7; the creature rolls 2+8 for 10. Jophy is defeated, and loses one nom, reducing his health to 4/5 noms.

to be continued...

Hold on, I'm doing them in order as I have time. Yours are going to be a long list of "proposal nullified by proposing something else instead" though.

Warhead wrote:Rule: You can pillage or raise locations owned by others if you land on them. Owners can buy defences, increasing the locations worth and ability to fight.

Pillaging player and Owner roll for combat.

If the pillagers wins he may gain some of the locations worth, decreasing it's worth by that amount or he may raise the property removing the properties ownership, subsequent players can later own this location again in the usual manner.

If the Owner wins he may sue for damages from the attacker.
This proposal should be nullifed by your later proposal of kicking people to death, but I decided to nullify that one as if it never existed instead. That means this one is still okay. Also, since pointing out grammar errors is now safe once again, I'd like to take a moment to appreciate the noble apostrophe and its unusual distribution in this proposal.

Anyway, pillaging added as rule 40.

Warhead rolls a 4 and moves forward to square 6, already occupied by booty bothered and Magic Soap, and owned by booty bothered. This doesn't stop a living food creature from attacking. Warhead rolls 3 + 5 for 8; the creature rolls 7 + 6 for 13. Warhead is defeated, reducing him to 4/5 noms of health.
Elmagnifico wrote:New rule: When a player proposes a new rule that includes an obvious grammatical or spelling error, flip a coin. On heads, that player is attacked by Blitzen and loses a health nom.
Elmagnifico joins the game and receives $200. Suprisingly, his token is an alpaca.

Approved as rule 41.

Elmagnifico is on GO, so he and IVhorseman pool their $348. $5 raises the Treasure to $45; Elmagnifico and IVhorseman split the rest for $171 each. The Admin noms $1.

Elmagnifico rolls a 6 and moves forward to square 6 with everyone else. He is attacked by the same creature that attacked Warhead. Elmagnifico rolls 7 + 5 for 12; the creature rolls 6 + 6 for 12. It's a tie, so nothing happens.

New rule: Snakes and Ladders are introduced to the board.
The Snakes and Ladders proposal cancels previous proposals, and is approved as rule 42. If any snakes or ladders are placed on the board they will now be treated like the Snakes and Ladders game. (I guess this means I'm going to have to turn the board around so the squares go up instead of down.)

There is no location for the pr0n shop, so there's no way for you to move to it or do anything else with it without making another change to the rules.

Magic Soap rolls a 5 and moves forward to square 11. Here he is attacked by a very weak living food creature.

Oh crap, you're going to think I'm making this up, but I just rolled a 1 for you and a 10 for the creature, making it 6 to 11. Magic Soap is defeated and is reduced to 4/5 noms of health.

We've got so many games in development, it seems like there are playtest events every day. Once they offered a prize of Lego, but I don't know who won it.
