As soon as I saw this set, I thought "FINALLY." This is a army builder set that I wouldn't mind buying a bunch of. The GAM (Green Army Man) is currently about three dollars on Bricklink, and Brickarms has released a green AK-47 to match the GAM. I really like the amount of green in this set overall. What's your opinion on this set? Does anyone have it?

They look nice. I want some, but I'd honestly rather get the other Toy Story sets more. Has anyone else seen the Wild West town set with Stinky Pete and stuff? It looks so good.
The green is the same green they use for plants and green baseplates, correct?

I think the army men will look much better with yellow heads and hands. But buying them just to try that? I don't know. Someone please do it now.

I suppose if you're using a Green Peace themed army, complete with Rainbow Warrior battle cruiser, then these green tree-huggers are right up your street. In terms of usability/collectability, nay.

What. Posting a topic on a lego set is immature now?
...
anyway. I think these would actually look good on a battlefield. We'll see when I finally get around to buying a set.

if 20 chickens can fit in a brick, how many pingpongballs does a crocodile have to eat so it can swim faster than a washing machine?

DavidP: You have just made me want the set, like, 3-4x more.
It's like 2 bucks (each) for the guys with their stuff & 3 for the jeep and stretcher.
Best part is I can paint away the green on the rifle and pars of the stretcher.
Awesome!

You also end up with a bunch of extra green heads and hands, which are great for orcs and zombies. Or orc zombies.

I could paint those to make them look more sickly.
My paints are getting excited.
