Well the transport wagon will be fully cannibalized for parts, and I expect the green truck will be stripped down a bit.Vami IV wrote:Nice hauls, Silent. I could easily see a truck or Armored Car out of those.
Best parts collections. They have the parts I want, in the colors that I want. what more could I ask for?Zupponn wrote:Because they make the best Brikwar vehicles?Silent-sigfig wrote:Great sets--There's a reason I think city is legos best line.

I've noticed a lot of the truck cabs in the City line use the same design, with the color being the only major variant.

I believe that the City line is sort of supposed to be an introductory line for less experienced builders. I could be wrong though.Gungnir wrote:I've noticed a lot of the truck cabs in the City line use the same design, with the color being the only major variant.

Oh that is absolutely true, there are only 5 or so basic city vehicles. Still, the color variety and parts selection are great.Gungnir wrote:I've noticed a lot of the truck cabs in the City line use the same design, with the color being the only major variant.

Re: The official LOOT topic

The roaring of machines breaks the silence of the Copperwind Desert Fields...

Accompanied by scouts Mike and Darius, BFenix strides the barren rocklands.

Darius: Fenix! In all the rush to get here you still haven't told us what's going down! Is Warhead up to no good again?
BFenix: The seer sensed a strong disturbance around this place, since he landed here, that might be the case! We're going to find out soon enough!

Mike: INCOMING!
?: Make way!
*VROOOOOOAAAA*
BFenix: What the- Who's that?!

BFenix: Hail traveler! What's the rush?
?: Run, you fools! Don't just stand there, the winged beasts are back!

BFenix: Winged beasts?

*STOMP*
BFenix: *sigh*

*ROOOOOAAAAAR*
BFenix: Mechdragon!
...

So, yeah, thanks for the tip Zahru, this set is pretty awesome. Was a bargain at Bricklink too. Despite the haul of cool parts, I'm probably keeping the dragon (or tweeking it just a bit), it's just so

I honestly can't think of a more
way to start the 300th page of the The official LOOT topic (better get ready for something for the 666th page). That dragon looks way too cool to be something Lego could put out as a set, much more like something contrived by Zahru. Not to mention those Metal Choppers...

Reason: You can't get away without some Fuckin Metal, quoting it from others doesn't count either. Come on Vami, we're better than this.
