As long as Lego inists on marking the package so they can know what is in each, the public will figure it out or someone will leak it out.

If they do not want us to figure it out then they need to stop marking them.

I never use them. The power is in the feeling. Buy a bunch and then feel their distinctive parts. IE: The Witch had a skirt in the last series. Flog any unwanted ones.

Those dummies. I was on the team that came up with this concept, and we had it in big bold letters: NO BARCODES. BOXES NOT POLYBAGS. But I half suspect they're doing it on purpose. Their main audience is still going to buy them at random, while the afol crowd gets to feel all clever and proud of themselves while still handing over huge piles of cash.

Stubby how come you are always the source of every thing awesome that lego creates.
You should be a very happy man with your life, to bad the devil gets to claim your soul when you die.

What else have you worked on other than Mars Mission and Knights Kingdom?

A lot of it he can't say, just in case Lego decides to use his ideas.

Zactly. I'll bet he has a ton of epic stuff on file, it's just that he can't show it to us. He says the like of it on his portfolio site. http://www.mikerayhawk.com/index.html

Little bit of everything really. Not much of it translated as directly from concept to final product as the KK stuff though. Like a lot of the characters in the collectible minifigs line were pulled from my pitches for other playthemes, for instance. And by contrast, the Lego orcs that ended up in the Castle theme were originally from the pitch for the collectible minifigures. So that was the most common thing, my work ended up in product lines I wouldn't necessarily have predicted.

I'll probably start posting a bunch of the Lego Universe stuff now that it's out, and the collectible figures pitch now that most of my figures have been revealed, next time I update the website.

So, I just got back from shopping, and picked up one of the Pharaoh's Quest sets from the Lego store. It was $5, which is a decent price.

All I can say is that the Jake Raines figure is great, and the scarab might be the best brick-built monster yet. It's backside is printed, and the set is abundant in joints and claws. I'm definitely going to pick up more of these when possible. ^_^

Also, the store had the new City Police sets... They're expensive as heck. The robber/cop one is $10, which is acceptable, but the others are crazy for their piece count. The police boat is $40 for 172 pieces!
