The archeologists keep gunning for the museum, while the Fiends and Brootalz try to take a shortcut...
The tractor dropped off the rifle gunner.
The Fruitmobile's onboard AI turns it on the spot. The Brootalz, as well as the Fiends in the buggy, swerve their vehicles around to go through the woods.
The Fiend truck rams the fruit truck!
The crash pushes the fruit truck to the side, and inflicts 1 SP of damage on both vehicles. The fruit truck has 6 SP left, while the Fiend truck has 3 SP left.
The wrecked archeologist truck is toppled over, sending the Demi-Slayzer Abomination sprawling.
The Brootalz and Fiend blow through the trees with ease. The Fiend buggy takes a nasty hit to the undercarriage, though, losing 2 SP. It has just one left.
But that doesn't stop the buggy from mowing down the archeologist gunner.
The little blue bear cub got ran over!
Mama Bear arrives. She's pissed.
Speedbrootalz
Spike Forward lops off a Fiend head.
The Brootal on the trike prepares a response attack, in case the raging bear tries something.
Fruit Corp.
The Demi-Slayzer gets back up.
With a good Sprint roll, it chases after the archeologists.
The fruit truck opens its hatch on the other side, and the Lettuce Troopers fire on the Fiends!
The driver leaps from the wheel to save Butchie Buzzsaw.
Fruitbatman addresses the Brootal boss.
"If there is even a one percent chance that the Fiends will win this race... you must treat it as an absolute certainty! So you should help me fight the Fiends..."
"Da hell, bananaman?" Spike says. "Ya talkin shit on the Brootalz? We're winning dis race! Banana, more like bad-nana, amirite ladz?"
The Brootalz laugh raucously.
Fruitbatman's bananarangs turn bad.
He tries throwing them at the Brootalz, but they hit the ground with a pair of sad splats.
The Mechanik tries to patch up the damaged Fruitmobile.
That should hold it together! The Fruitmobile is fully repaired, and is back to 4 SP.
Fruitbatman is sulking, so the AI takes over and fires at the Brootalz.
The dragster gets shot up, losing 2 SP, leaving it with just one.
The archeologist in the car wanted to shoot at the fruit truck driver, but the truck's been pushed out of range. She shoots the Demi-Slayzer. It's a hit, but the abomination shrugs it off.
The driver on Tony Junder's horse grabs his rifle, and takes a shot at the truck driver instead. But she totally misses.
Tony examines the road ahead.
"I have a hunch... there's an archeological find, right here!"
A digger crew turns up, and starts excavating.
Soon they've created a deep trench across the road.
Punk Fiends
Butchie leaps over to the fruit truck, and slices up a Lettuce Trooper.
"Fuck you corp scum!"
The Mechanik grabs some of the junk lying around.
She creates a ramp! Kinda ramshackle, but it'll do!
She gets back in the truck, so there's someone ready to drive it next turn.
Mama Bear
Mama Bear attacks the Brootal on the trike. But he's ready for her and strikes first, inflicting 1 SP of damage. The bear has 2 left.
The Brootal can't hold off the bear for long though, and gets horribly mauled.
