UPF is back

Post by james+burgundy » Thu Jun 03, 2010 8:47 pm

So a while back the UPF was formed to beat the hell out of peachs, but budget cuts came and they were down sized form a full fledged branch of the military to a more Sam Fisher style one man kills all unit. The UPF is back in town meaner madder and more enraged then ever before, Codenamed WARHEAD (Wild Ass(kicking) (En)Raged Hat Er Assigned (to) Destroy ) Enjoy*

Yeah this is NOT my retort for ROC's atrocity towards yellows, just a quick "show of force" more will come....

Hmmm... According to the letters you bolded, he is codenamed WRHEAD.

Also, it's nothing special. At all.

Knew I forgot one letter thanks aoffan23.

This is what wrong with the youth of this world. They see the pending demise of peachs and call it "nothing" when in fact any hint towards making life more like hell for peachs should be hailed as a god given gift. You ungrateful people just want blood, nay! take this as one of those "priceless things" in life savor it for the blood shall come oh it shall but in the mean time this is just a small snack.

Nope no decals its the flip side of a printed body from the new World Racer line. You can find it in this set Snake Canyon 8896 I found it at Toys R Us yesterday.

Well it was just dumb luck, heck I did not notice the similarity till a few hours after I got the thing. I really just got the set because I want to make a squad like this just more pimping with the painted helmet and all.

It's times like these where I feel like J+B is finding every opportunity to shamelessly show off his stuff, which is all made from specifically picked pieces that he paid for with his mommy and daddy's money.

And before you come and say "OMFG THIS IS MY THREAD SO I CAN DO WHAT I WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!", I'd like to point out the obvious fact that this isn't the only situation I'm talking about.

Also, I dislike people who rely almost exclusively on Bricklink to get Lego, it takes the fun and the point out of buying sets.

J+B, not sure those helmets are any good, for my own tastes. Too tall IMO. Still, I like the goggles and armour.

WARNING WARHEAD RANT: In my time I've bought zillions of Lego sets which I enjoyed at the time. But now I'm sick of buying ten of something to get the right number of THAT particular peace I want. Briklink is the dogs bollox. Overpriced Lego can suck my plumbs, they got their pound of flesh when I was most in need of money, when I didn't have much of it. Besides, most of the sets nowadays aren't very sturdy and to be honest are stingy on parts and uninspired as a stand alone set IMO. The Mini-Figs are where Lego's focusing it's attention. BTW Random Mini-Figs for £2 each, kiss my puckered hairy arse Mr Lego CEO ya chancing wee sleekit prick! Sure, you'll get your money but I'll make sure I get the most I can and what I want for what I spend.

EDIT: scrap nonsensical unneeded bullshit.

I've always been more of a "make do with what you have" kind of guy, so I never used to buy sets for parts, I'd buy the sets for the sets, the parts were a bonus.

This forum has led me to lean more towards the parts side, and the last couple of sets I've bought have been for parts. Hopefully this doesn't keep up, as this kind of Lego interest seems to be alot more costly.

One Bricklink order that is pretty much necessary for me to make is crossroad baseplates. A set of one crossroad and one straight road is $20, but I've found a store on Bricklink that has crossroad plates for $4 each. I'll still be buying the straights for the $10, since I can't find a close store that has the amount I need for a lower price.

Maximally agreed sir! Not to mention the poor quality control and that some parts are made now in china... Yuck. I want the 'lego' of my childhood back.
