KillZone games are by far the most common game type played in the Death Bowl. They can be played with Gladiators facing off in single combats or between teams of up to two, three, four, or five Gladiators. At maximum, there will never be more than ten characters facing off in any two player Death Bowl game. Complications are chosen normally, with Obstacles and Timers being the most common.

KillZone matches are extremely simple and brutal. They are tactical deathmatches, with Gladiators trying to maximize the amount of points they get for their kills. Points are awarded based on Kill Location, that is, the zone in which the target becomes deceased. Kills in the Center Zone are worth Three Points, kills in the Narrows (the four cardinal direction zones) are worth Two Points, and kills in the Corners are worth One Point.

The "team" with the most points at the end of the game (or, more likely, the only one left standing) is the winner. All Points earned by a Gladiator during the match are added to her Ranking and her place on the Leaderboards is adjusted accordingly.
