Refugee

Refugees are the poor survivors who were lucky enough to have front-row seats to their homelands' spectacular destructions, but who were unlucky enough to discover themselves still alive after all the good parts were over.

This sorry lot wander through neighboring regions like drifting debris, hopeless in the knowledge that no matter what kind of death and mayhem they find, nothing will ever again approach the peak of excitement and adrenaline they experienced when everything they cared about was destroyed. Losing their ability to take pleasure in lesser forms of violence, many fall victim to deadly pacifism.
