It started out as a PMC (private military company) It had no political opinions and worked for those who payed the highest. It started to grow bigger because of high registrations of soldiers, 
and there for it needed a main base instead of being scattered around the galaxy. 
So they colonized one of the planets in the Gimlé-solarsystem, Ferri, That was a metal rich planet, but very little life because of bad living conditions. There they started to build the foundation of their new nation. 
They merged with the other planets around which were settled by a little nation and other military corporation, much smaller than the PMC, along with a space pirate port. 
And then they took up the name RAG, which increases rapidly in population growth.
