Well that's the trick, I'm only ever allowed to talk about the projects and details that make it to shelves, because all the unused stuff is still trade secrets that might end up getting used later.

Like, I would never have guessed that our collectible minifigs idea was still in development, I thought it got axed years ago. But if I'd talked about it back when I thought it was a dead project, then I'd have unknowingly been giving away future lego product plans.
Ahh... That make sense, if a 3rd series rolls around they might be in it. But, I would like to throw in my recommendation for a collectable minifig if a 3 series rolls around. A police detective [unshaven scruffy head, white button shirt torso, dark pants, dark blue vest(body armor), and a semiauto pistol from the batman sets]

Any other project you though were axed but that have turned up since you left, Rayhawk? Besides the collectable minifigs. Any other lines or such that were retooled versions of stuff you worked on?

Actually yeah. I don't remember them off the top of my head though, so they must not have been very exciting. My last stint in Concept was in 2006, so they're tapering off.

Oh, one of them was the famous-architecture line. We did the whole pitch just so we could include the guggenheim as a joke, and then look what happens. Actually a lot of stuff from that round of pitches got accepted, I think last year's 7636 Combine Harvester was my boss's contribution that we also thought no one would ever approve, and the 7633 Construction Site with the modular constructable building was the main pitch from that particular set of concepts (i.e., the one we thought actually had a chance).

But again, that was all years ago, so I'd already forgotten about them almost completely by the time they appeared on the shelves. And it wasn't a particularly brikwarsy set of concepts either, so probably not even worth having mentioned in the first place.

Very tempting to get at least one squads worth of cheerleaders to follow Piltogg the minnifig around everywhere.

For chrissakes, Stubhawk, you're telling me you and some of your buds were responsible for some of the best lego sets I've bought?

Then again, I think we knew that already.

Can you memorize a bar code?
Or at least spot something that sets it apart from all the others.

sorry about the size, i suspect you might appreciate the details :)

found these in a country town in australia yesterday. he had them out the back and wasnt going to put them on sale till june when new toyworld catalogs had them in it. pricing was $4 each or 3 for $10.

even with the barcodes on that page on my iphones screen i managed to get confused and got a few doubles. kinda glad, the diver and the dummy are my least favorite out of the 12 anyway.

the new spaceman has an amazingly detailed helmet. the pistol is uber also.

love the caveman, i want a bunch of these. the mini club is fantastic. i need a cave wench now though.

two plumes per forrestman fig! :)

the hair on the skater is nice.

can't wait to pick up one of the new prince of persia sets for claws and give them to my 2nd ninja.

The Psychotic Head-hunter Mime looks like he'd make a horrific army too.

Macabres? I believe you mean maracas.

Anyway, that Mexican dude is the one I want. That sombrero is the best thing ever. The dumbbells are pretty awesome, too.

The ones that look the best to me are the Headhunter mime, Funky McDiscoFace, my gardener, and the two beach dudes.

The dojo master would be cool too.
