Round 6

Wolfpack Knights

The final knight fired, but failed to kill.

PeaceAss

PeaceAss accidentally set himself on fire and ran off before he could be crushed by the doomfacepalm of utter fail.

Deserters

Xalen and Garth slashed through two of the final three White Knights.

And then there was one...

Rangers

*Whack* The final blazer fell under the giant's club.

The druid succesfully channeled a spell and heavy winds blew through the ranks of the Falx, limiting their movement by 2 inches. The rangers' arrows failed against the desert golems' hides.

(there was also a pic of the junge stalker again failing to harm the giant, I wonder where it went)

Magus Squadron Rescue Team

Word of the crisis had spread quickly through the Kingdom. A significant force couldn't be mustered in so little time, but an improved flyer, carried by magically channeled wind, carried three mages into battle. (reinforcements for Royal Residents, stats will be sent)

Royal Residents

The Bloodguard was beset by enemies...

But he heroically made it inside through the obstacles.

BlokBots

True to their nature, more BlokBots washed upon the battlefield...

The ghostbots advanced eerily, but didn't get in range of any enemies yet.

More crafty than they looked, they worked together to man and lift the cart of wails and made it operational for battle again.

Forces advancing...

Attacking its leg, a couple of bots managed to bring the Jungle Stalker down to 1 HP.

The waterbots rounded the corner... slowly.

Some stayed behind to crush the overzealous Hitokiri.

Rather than storming into the deathtrap the bots formed up. A ripple of water-like energy moved outward from the mages and tore through a Bull.

Bulls

Ordering his men to keep defending the doorways, Valarius got in the best position he could reach to aim for a weak spot in the Giant's tough armour. His feat failed though, and his shot thunked off the Giant's shoulder plate.

The burning hot sand was dragged up the wall... They couldn't throw it yet so the Bull archers attacked what they could from range. I have no pictures of dead people so I presume they all failed.

Hitokiri

Subute... Man he's gonna be pissed when he finally finishes his feat, bet on it.

The other Hitokiri combined fire, destroying two Waterbots.

I apologise for the long wait - I haven't been home much and have had these pics on my computer for a while, and when I AM home the camera is in use. This weekend however, I should be able to finish this round! After that university will have begun and I'll only be at home during weekends but I promise you I'll finish this battle someday... you have my word (even though in the future I'll organise these things differently) : )

It could either mean hiatus or he hasn't finished uploading, both likely, both unclear.

Phineus:

The ranged skeletons attacked the nearest enemy...

Killing the failed creation before it could do much.

The last ballista shot caught a pup.

- Warning, lots of unsuccesful rolls - The desert golem's ranged attacks had no effect this time.

What skeletons were left attacked each gate...

So far without casualties.

The ghost woke up from his nap and fired ineffectively at the jungle stalker's leg.

The crocodiles reappeared and nomed a Hitokiri.

Phineus once again cast his foul magics...

Which gave the giant the necessary power to throw the Jungle Stalker through the gate. It died from the impact.

Two Bulls and the last knight were crushed.

As were three Blokbots as the rubble descended on them.

The Giant died under the effects of the spell as well, once again proving Phineus' ruthelessness even unto his allies. With his last gasp the giant threw himself in a way he wouldn't crush the allied Blokbots.

Falx Expeditionary Forces

The assassins rushed the walls, picking up weapons as they went.

The first force scaled the walls. The assassin went directly for the prisoner, the rangers provided cover.

Showing off his lockpicking expertise, the leading assassin opened the gate. "Good to have you back. Here, have this" he said, handing her the corroded knife.

"I've had enough of those forest- and bearmen, charge the walls!" the commander shouted, and the Falx descended into a rather atypical stampede towards the walls... Some ran faster than others, and needless to say some got in another's way.

A smaller group remained behind to defend the portal.

Commander: "Remember, men, we need to maintain these small portals to allow our initial forces passage before we can set to work on the creation of the major portals here!"

Those that were already on the walls let loose a volley on the Blokbots, destroying a few.

Furbeasts

The Chieftain batted the spiked end of his club towards the enemy leader, but the Gripper obstructed him enough for him to miss.

Dunno why I took this pic.

The chieftain cut the Gripper in half in kind response.

He then rushed out of the killzone he was presented with. Now there's proper hero usage for ya!

Hatespark was the second hero to be mobbed by Furbeasts. They're pretty strong, and good at this task. He took one of them with him, however.

The remaining pup wobbled at the 'big cwossbow' with outstretched little claws like a kid would approach a toy.

"Let's scwew deese mowthafuckwas up!"

One desert golem fell, but to an outnumbered enemy, every loss is dire.

Dweller garrisson

After having been frozen in time for ages, the dweller garrison finally awakened. Shooting their last spears, they pinned down a desert golem.

And finally (!) The Mighty...

Jinpu Tai!

The pistolier brought heavenly wrath to two ranged BlokBots.

The assassin had completely different plans though... "Flash step!"

"Oh bugger..."

NOTICE

I don't have overview pictures yet, I'll post them up this saturday. From now on I'll only be home during weekends but I'll try to make a round happen every week. Which means a week for orders, if I don't have them every weekend I'll fill in.
