stubby wrote:The Dune series is tricky. Every book is slightly worse than the one before it. So what you should do is read until you're disappointed, and then stop; don't grab the next book and think "maybe this will make up for the last one" because it'll only ruin it further. It's hard to say which book is the one that'll ruin the series for you, but probably just stop after the first or second one.
That, is the exact critique I've been waiting for. I've wanted to read this series of books for years and now I don't need to. I love Dune, and so by not reading any of the books I can make sure I continue to do so. Thanks Stubby!

just finished reading The Clockwork Man yesterday, I advise against reading it.
It seems like a good read while you're reading it, but once you finish all you can think is: "God damn, that was pretty dumb."
It was decent, so it wasn't a complete waste of 3 days.
I'll probably start reading Dune after the weekend.

. Nothing like a good ol' Peach Zombie outbreak to make a battle more exciting!

I really liked the Daft Punk Tron Soundtrack.
I thought they did a great job.
As for me: I picked up one of these....

Alright, more Pharaoh's Quest! I almost opted to buy one of the Golden Staff Guardians, but stupidely didn't. How is the set?

Holy crap, the artwork makes that dinky little set look AWESOME.
...The Scarab Attack set is still the superior battle pack, of course.
