My list looks something like thisspartan117 wrote:1:Grizzled Space Marine kills lots of aliens

Actually the books were terrible. The anime was pretty great though.
1.Halo 3
2.Nethack with isometric 3D
3.Fallout 3 with all addons
4.Doom
5.World Of Warcraft
6.Minecraft
7.Halo CE
8.Civ 4
9. Sonic 3 and Knuckles (the one where you had to put one cartridge in the back of another)
10.Duck hunt, the mod I played let you shoot that motherfucking dog.

I could put facepalms here, but I'd never stop. Ok maybe just one:spartan117 wrote:1:halo

Ok nevermind, a fuckton!
Obama facepalmed you! FAIL!Oh the lolz. I mean really, that was a typical XBAWX list. My doctor recommends....... More PC games. Try Portal. Or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Or Half life. Or Fallout. Or Capitalization. Yes, I'm ragging on the fact that you can't capitalize. HEY BLITZEN! I COULD USE SOME HELP HERE!

I actually really like these stats... I may hijack them, or even use them for something else entirely.Keldoclock wrote:
WHAT THE FUCK?
Here's a better and less absurd one.
skill:1d10
move:7"
armor:2d10
Heroic Ego(1 Feat) SPARTAN II Cliche
MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor- This advanced suit of protective gear gives the SPARTAN super-soldier incredible surviabilty- in any situation where the soldier would otherwise be killed, roll a d6. On a 5 or a 6, the SPARTAN is fine.
With a weapon and all that, im guessing my spartan would cost like 30cp
And any anime of Halo sucks by definition.
But getting back to the derail, my list is mostly Star Wars PC stuff... but fairly varied in terms of gameplay:
6. Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon (RTS with sailing ships in space... hell yes. Cheap and awesome, if you haven't tried this yet, do)
7. Star Wars: Republic Commando (an FPS that's actually challenging)
8. Star Wars: Battlefront II (with added mods and maps, one of the best FPS's out there)
9. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1&2 (with mods)
10. Halo: Combat Evolved (Old-school. Currently pwning Legendary)
11. Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption (Absolute Corruption Mod gives you literally hundreds of unit options to play with...)
12. Sonic Heroes PC (high-speed awesomeness)
13. MechCommander 2 (What I like about TP: BAP and MC2 is the ability to customize all of the units you command. MC2 is a free ISO image at mechcommander.org; virus-free as far as I can tell, and it works great)
14. Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Outcast (or something like that. Old school)

I had a great idea to further drive home that super-soldier godliness:
Bromantically Involved (+2 cp): Before the game begins, this hero may designate any other hero with this ability as being his brother-in-arms (snicker). Multiple heroes may share this special bond. Bromantically involved heroes do not suffer from crankiness when fighting along their bros.

It's a secret to everybody.

If you play Halo on anything that isn't legendary, you're doing it wrong.trebnos1 wrote: 10. Halo: Combat Evolved (Old-school. Currently pwning Legendary)
Fuer, I've always had a hard time putting a CP cost on that ability, TYVM.

Thanks, everyone.
Incidentally, anyone seen Bulletstorm? The gameplay's interesting on it's own, but I hope to God to the dialogue is meant to be satirical. You just don't call someone dick-nipples seriously... I hope.
That works for a serious ability, sure. Mine's just a bit more derisive.Zahru II wrote:Very good, feuer_faust. I had a similar idea in mind, but I called it 'united we stand'.

The site itself has plenty more.
