I highly doubt it, it's called Maersk blue for a reason. It would be pretty awesome, although it would be way harder to mix them with other minifigures, so it would be a pretty bad move (unless they come out with more Maersk blue minifigures in the future, which again, I highly doubt).

I'm pretty sure they're medium blue.

They could also be prototypes, which aren't always the same color. The blue pieces of the car thingy are regular, good old fashioned blue because they have already been made in other sets and stuff. The fig isn't that far from the regular blue color shown there. Why would they make all of the color scheme the same blue on the vehicles, but then make the fig off-blue.

Maybe they finally decided to be awesome. Besides, if they were plain blue, they'd mix in with the vehicles and it would look like the Blue Man Group got stuck in a trash compactor.

Yea, they wouldn't do the same thing they've always done. Never. They would totally make an entirely new color that's only like 5% less saturated just so it wouldn't be the same as the vehicles. Just like Atlantis, Agents, Mars Mission, and pretty much every other sci-fi theme.

The Alien Conquest sets look kind of poor. The impulse set looks pretty good, and the headquarters truck is real nice (But too pricey for me), but the rest seem very sparse. I was excited of hearing about the Tripod set, but is looks especially bad. :(

The Lighthouse set is glorious and the highlight of this year.

I think from what I see here that the Binoculars will fit snugly over those end studs. Potential for awesome: 100%

And they're aimed directly at the tires, that's useful.

I guess they're implying them as suspension... or as emergency breaks? :phil:
