Bike!?. You son of a bitch, we never had such frippery when I was a lad, oh no. We were grateful for a bag of marbles and a kick in the face. The hours you could while away in A+E playing with your marbles. Of course back in those days we understood the true meaning of Skaturnalia. Survival.

Not having played pretty much any pokemon since Blue, I went out and got the Pokemon Black + DSi bundle deal. First of all, the DSi is some high-tech craziness.

Feels basically like the same game I played in middle school, but with crazy new monsters, some improved mechanics and extra types, and the gayest feature ever (Pokemon Musical? Pink frills? oy).

Crystal was the best of the series. It had something about it that pulled it far ahead of silver and gold. I remember because i borrowed it from a friend and forgot to give it back. He was a bit flabbergasted when his level 5 cyndaquil turned into a level 100 typhlosion, along with the most kick-butt party known to man in two weeks.

Ah Crystal, a great game indeed. I still remember my reaction when they showed that one commercial with the Pidgey flapping its wings. Oh, and the Suicune parts were cool too.

No Mareep though. X(
