Hello everyone, I thought it might be a good idea to show you my toy wargaming figures. They're not anything greatly special as I haven't been too daring with conversions or anything.
Elves.
Conversion of a Lego Elf to High Elf using ED-209's artwork as a basis.

Hero riding a Mega Blok Griffin
The Bad Guys: Mostly old Mega Bloks Dragons figures.
I've still got other Dragons figures to sort out and assemble. The Elves are what I'm mainly working on at present. I'm buying up old down-on-their-luck Lego minifigs and converting them into Elves using Ed-209's artwork as well as Brickforge's Elf armour and weapons parts.

These are pretty good, you clearly put time and hard work into them. I like the Elves especially.

Nice customization.
An army marches on its stomach, and its favorite food is fudge.

Thanks for the nice comments
While looking for something else I found one of the Mega Blok Griffin standards that were in the same joblot of bits I'd picked up second hand that the Griffin was in. I think the other one of the pair is red, but my Playmobil knights have got that one.
Anyway it suits my Elf army quite well so they can have it to keep.

The high elf's face is a bit odd, you could have left it like it was. But other than that it is nice! Are you going to make them all like high elves or only this one?
NO!THERE ARE NO POLAR BEARS IN FINLAND!!!

To my great annoyance I couldn't handle a fine paintbrush for toffee that evening I painted his face. He's not an original btw, he's mostly an old Castle set knight stripped of his helm and armour with his head turned backwards and an Elf hairpiece popped on his head. His blue armour and shield are homemade printer decals based off the original Lego Elf.
I'm going to make some more High Elves once I find some more old minifigures to convert, but the original green Elves will all stay as they are, though I will replace some of their weapons & etc with Brickforge items.

I'ts not bad at all, and now I understand why you painted it. I first thought that you have more elf faces but as you didn't this is totally understandable. Good paintojob!
Are there going to be battles soon btw?

Yes I hope to play some tryout battles fairly soon. I've got enough Elves to put together a small, but useful army so it would be good to see how they work out.
I'm a bit short of horses at the moment, but I do have the beginnings of a unit of cavalry.
One of the green Elves was promoted to King as soon as he was taken out of the packet! Promotion can be rapid amongst Elfkind

That's still very much a work in progress. I was thinking about using the 2001 Edition rule's Race supplement to guide me so I can figure out stats that are properly Elf-like.

Very nice elves! Nothing like a huge horde of Megabloks to slaughter
