I wanted to have a go at making some weapons for my Lost Valley guys and first off I had a go at making a heavy caliber custom hunting rifle.....

The rifle's owner looks to be a bad tempered individual so his choice in weapons isn't too suprising really.
My next attempt was to make a minigun for my new French guys; - a new variety of patent 4 barrelled Gatling gun with a drum magazine which I don't think ever existed, but looks sort of Steampunkish.

Personally I think it would be really awkward to carry about and would be wildly inaccurate due to the recoil throwing anyone trying to fire it about the place, but then odd looking ordnance nobody else wants seems to find its way to Dinoreich and the Lost Valley.

Both look awesome and very Brikwarsy. Keep it up!

I like the hunting rifle a lot. You did a good job cutting and gluing the pieces together.

Axe-bayonet FTW!

I'm going to have a go at redoing the minigun because it looks too clumbsy and blobby, but the rifle with the axe attached is definitely much better and I'll stick with this design for other weapons.
Thanks for the comments and feedback everyone

Completely rebuilt the minigun and it's much better now. Every dinosaur hunter needs an 8 gauge shotgun so I put together one of those tonight as well.

love the shotty, very nice. I also like this minigun version better, but think that it should be a two handed weapon, so mounting it on a rifle body would not be my first choice

I purposely wanted it to look a little on the unlikely side of reality, but I might add another handle or grip onto it somewhere.
Thanks for the comments and feedback chaps, - I need more guns for some of my minifigs and I've still got crossbows and lances to spare so who can say what I might come up with next.
