subarus are just like any other car, if you take care of them, they will last a long time. the brat i have currently has 231k miles on it. granted, i am gutting it and putting in a wrx conversion, lol. some are definitely more reliable than others. the old ej22 engines were, and i guess, still are damn near bullet proof. the shop i used to work for had an old legacy wagon they used for hualing tires and parts that had well over 400k on it. granted, it showed signs of its age, it didnt run right until it got well up to temp and always made odd noises when you drove it, but it kept going and going. hell, i think it was still there last time i drove past, i havent worked there for about 8 years, lol.

ok, back on topic.

i have got a lot of stuff since i last posted, lol.

i now have the complete forest police collection, i got the ninjago fire temple for my gf for her b-day, i picked up most of the new fire fighter sets, i got a random bunch of bricks from pick a brick, i got the dino helicopter and then there are a few other random sets i picked up in the last few months, lol.

other than lego, i got HID lights in my wrx, i got the "cyclopse" light/ grill for my brat, i picked up some random paintball gear to build another project there, and last night, i got a new laptop.

yay bonuses and tax returns! lol. sadly though, most of the bonus and tax returns went to bills :(

if i can remember, i will take pics when i get home from work tonight. granted, the girlie friend has the fire temple set. the other problem is getting the sets in one place, lol, they are in multiple rooms where ever i could find space for them. im in the process of cleaning and organizing all my stuff, so at the moment, the house is a mess. its gotta get worse to get better, right?

I've ordered enough parts from bricklink to build a small keep. Also, some minifig bits and pieces. Should arrive this week.

I recently got Royal Knight's Castle. I was surprised by how long it took to put together compared to King Leo's castle and just how overall badass it is. It's just that great. Royal Knights are definitely my favourites.

Went to another LUG meeting at Brickforge today.
I got a treasure chest in a parts draft, and bought a few of their "battlescarred" (mis-molded) stuff:
2 Coilguns in Army Green
7 Mega Guns, 6 DGreen and 1 Pink.
2 Falcatas in Sand Green
and 1Sickle in Trans LBlue.
A pretty good haul, if I do say so myself.
They had some trans-green helmets in there, but I saw no need for them.

This is the most beautiful set I have ever purchased. It was worth blowing all the money I had leftover from work!

Man I would love to have that set. I for one think that the houses in it look good even for a modern setting.

I'm really upset I had my dark ages while Castle was running. I missed a lot of awesome sets and I'm not too interested in spending mad cash on them now.

I did buy the new joust set which looks awesome. When I return home in September I'm going to have a lot of fun building!

Indeed. And Mill Village Raid. When I compare this to the crap I was sold as a kid, I want to punch somebody

My GI Brick order came in:

Needless to say, I saw the ORANGE TRANSPARENT BROWNING as a freebee and nearly wet myself.

ORANGE TRANSPARENT BROWNING!!! That trans-red rocket looks pretty cool, too.
