Yep, PAB is always a gamble. Of course there is this site which prevents disappointing visits to a store... I wonder which bricks get there at what intervalls. For example my shop has had the round 1x1 trans-medium blue plates ever since it opened and almost always 4xX black plates.

Pics please!

I also figured out a way to modify them to match my microship-building aesthetic using my other Promo Polybag set:

Make one of those with six Venators and you've got the Outbound Flight with Venators instead of Dreadnaughts!

Could be a nice troop transport with a nice gun on that roof. And something sharp and deadly on its front. :-)

Got this today. Other than the fact that the minifigs are peaches, here's what I thought of the set.

Good:
-The little droid (T7-01) is awesome
-The starfighter itself is pretty sweet
-Satele and the Republic trooper have some awesome outfits and can easily be changed to yellows.
-Not a SINGLE STICKER
-Lots of useful parts
-Very detailed cockpit

Bad:
-Peaches
-Overly priced for its part count
-No helmet for the republic trooper
-Flick-fires, as always, even though they do work better this time

Still a pretty good set I thought.

Eh, that experiment didn't go well...
The Venators wings are too wide...

Oooh, how's the Trooper's Blaster go together?
Looks like it could be a handle on the bottom of motor, but it's a bit too long...

I have a new hero, walker unit, sniper, droid captains to go with my 'dog droids', and 2 blasters (left over since I equipped them with assyrian rifles.)

Recommended buy!

Brick Link order, approx. $66 including shipping. This is my second one this month, but this one was much larger than the first. Many of the pieces I ordered are parts that I never had before like the two white arch panel things that are in a bag by themselves. If you look carefully at this picture you can make a very educated guess as to what my next build is going to be once I get more parts. (This order didn't have everything I needed.)

Oh and my cult, you've seen her before, she just likes to follow me around the house, especially if she hears me playing with Lego because then she knows that I'll give her attention.

Dear god...

A second spider tank?

Time to dig out my Lego again.

We haev a Image!! Yes I'm doing a second one. But first I've been working on improving the leg joints on the first to make them stickier.

Make a big one with more legs & giant cannons on top?

Or maybe some spikes on the bottom, so it can walk over infantry squads and the when it's above them, crouch down and skewer them all?
