Hammermann's body is thrown at the chest. Nothing happens.


Fedora cautiously approaches the chest and opens it. No traps are set off.


Inside the chest, he sees a letter addressed to the Storm Acolyte from the Sky Ruler.


"Should we give this to the acolyte, or should we read it first?" asks Fedora.


Hammermann stirs.

"My head hurts..."


With Hammermann conscious again, he takes point and leads the group through the rest of the cavern.
No enemies present themselves, so they advance very far. (I skipped a few turns since all you would have done was move.)


Suddenly, near the end of the cave, six dark elves are found standing their ground. Something about their clothing suggests they are not as easy to beat as the other elves.


The group takes up their positions and ready for a fight. The letter will have to wait until later.
Old Greg's friend, Marcus, senses magic nearby.

Hammermann, being the brave man that he is, runs forward!


And rolls a six, decapitating a dark elf!


The Zombie Cop also rolls a six while preparing a spell.


Another dark elf is burned to a crisp. Crispy dark elf.... Mmmmm.....


Crispy....


Ash decides he wants to fit in and fires his chainsaw arm at the nearest enemy.


But something goes haywire in that silly arm of his...


...and the chainsaw lands in Hammermann's back!


Hammermann, already weakened from the earlier explosion, begins to go down! But wait!


A dark elf warrior decides to take the moment....


And slash Hammermann across the open wound, thus dealing more damage!


But why stop there? Another elf charges head and spears Hammermann in the neck.


The damage is too much, even for the Mighty Hammermann. Being lifted up by the spear, he begins to tumble back.


But rather than die, something strange happens. His body glows with an ethereal light...


... and then he's gone, to the land from which he came.


Fedora, angry that Hammermann has fallen, charges forward in an almost blood rage.


Led by Marcus, Old Man Greg teeters on forward.


A warrior tries to poke Fedora.


Fedora's rage prevents any attacks from successfully hurting him and he blocks the spear like a boss.

I'm fine with having my character defeated, but I'm really happy that you had him die how I always do when I have him appear in my forum battles.

Hammerman does not die. He just returns to where he came from. His is a quest neverending. As long as there is evil about, Hammerman will be there to answer the call.

Of course! Just make sure that it fits in with the fantasy genre thing. The Ash character is almost too high-tech for my liking, but I allowed him because he's basically a Bruce Campbell clone and Bruce Campbell is the man. Literally, he starred in an Old Spice commercial. What could possibly be manlier than that?

I'm not into the steam punk, so no characters like that please. And no over-the-top uber powerful skills, yet. Knowing its you, Silver, I'm sure you'll make a great character like everyone else has so far.

To the rest of you, if you look in the overview, you'll see the moon stick is resting comfortably on a stand. Grab the moon stick and the quest will be finished. Unless I have something darker planned....
