Battle of Sacred Glade
Remember when I posted the Walls of Kerrat? Well, The Battle of Sacred Glade is part two. It's again a contest entry for LCC, but it seems only right to share it with you guys as well. It's my first time using the 'story feature' on Photobucket, which isn't that bad. Photobucket actually received a couple of upgrades recently which I definitely like. You'll no doubt recognize some of the figs shown (although there's a couple of new ones as well...) and know they're characters from Westeron, but keep quiet about it to the LCC people, since Roawia (as the LCC world is called) is a different universe, so these are all different characters...

I really enjoy the magical effects you created in this scene: the flames, the fish guy summoning whatever that blue column is, the guy sinking into the floor. Very neat.
And did I spy Zahru in there?

The waterfall was very cool. I also liked the mage wards protecting against the archers.
I hadn't realized Photobucket added this feature. Its neat.

Re: Battle of Sacred Glade
Yep. The goal / guideline was to 'crusade' against a 'magic island and its inhabitants'. I went through my minifigs and picked out anyone who looked like he / she could live in such a place, and Zahru Trollarm seemed to fit that description, and is a formidable enough minifig to leave a lasting impression on people who see him... at least I hope.
Oh, and since Zahru is a planeswalker, that could actually be him, fighting random battles in his free time
That blue pillar is a waterfall coming down to crush a guy. If I had enough blue transparent pieces I would've used them instead so you could see the silhouette of the guy inside, but alas. I got the idea for most of the magical effects from the Vincent Gage storyline (and old castle website that is now gone) which had a very similar battle at one point and also a chapter where Vincent Gage's entire party was crushed by ridiculously huge MOC's of magic effects.
