Factions of Rexus Prime

I recently started dividing my minifigs up into factions since finding the brikwars website.

Pretty boring but this is all I've got so far

The world is split among 3 major powers with other minor factions working for the highest bidder

The Empire is an absolute monarchy headed by the great Darth Helmet. They are trying to extend the borders of the Empire to the entire System

*Update* Built some vehicles for the faction. They are all pretty basic, with some slight mods from the normal lego versions.

General Technologies is a technology conglomerate that sells weapons to the highest bidder. They are based in the Baron's lands and have slightly stronger ties with them. Their main competition is the Octan Corporation and to a lesser extent, the Techno Union.

They also look nice. I'd recommend to use a bigger variety of heads, if possible.

Thank you. I do not have a lot of minifig pieces at the moment and have never used bricklink or pick a brick. I have just created all the factions and none of them really have any vehicles to speak of other than some random starwars and super hero stuff.

A few updates...

I have been working on a Hussar design that I like and this is about the best that I can come up with based off the pieces I have. The Hussar's lance is about three times the size of a standard minifig with the bikes capable of bringing them up to ramming speed from very short distances. The large wings make the units appear larger than they actually are which makes them slightly harder to hit.




APC

The APC is boring as shit and looks very boxy. I pretty much hate the design but was messing around with the wheels I had and it was a quick and dirty design. The APC seats 6 pretty comfortably with weapons or gear in their hands and also has room for a driver and a gunner. There are twin auto-cannons on top for some decent firepower.



Back
The back is just as boxy and boring as the front. The door closes and is very snug. The armor is pretty consistent all around with no real weak points.



Interior
The interior of the APC is pretty roomy for how big it is. There is room for 6 minifigs, a driver, and a gunner. The only door is the rear hatch and loading/unloading can be pretty slow.




All together now
Shown here is a 3rd bike I am working on. It is more of a work horse that carries supplies and is capable of carrying wounded out of battle.

if I might make a suggestion; the guys with swat shields, I'd try to use some connection other than a walkie talkie/radio thing there, as a lot of people who see that are immediately going to recognize that part. Maybe try just connecting the bottom tube of a 2x4 plate to the minifig's hand-stud?

Yes, It is pretty tentative right now and he is more just the stand in figure head. I have been sorting all of my sets over the past couple of weeks and once that is finally done, I can start uploading some more army pics.
