I can honestly say that Dark Crusade was where Dawn of War peaked for me, after that - soulstorm was just a buggy, shite-ily balanced cash grab.

Before soulstorm everything had a reasonable amount of balance and leway - after soulstorm I KAN SPAM TEH FLUY-EEERS LULULULULUL

For a game that was pretty much beer and pretzels level RTS, it took what there was to play with and turned it into a race for flying units. After that, who the fuck cared?

Same. SS felt like a lot of unnecessary feature creep crammed into an aging game.

I found the rules for Necromunda somewhere,and it looks pretty interesting. No wonder GW discontinued it...

I thought you needed soulstorm to play as all the factions? expansion system was rather confusing
