For no additional cost, you can make a weapon or armor an Artifakt.
These weapons have twice the UR, damage, and armor bonus. Artifax can only be used by Heroes, and each Hero can only have one Artifakt.
After a Hero dies, a non-Hero Minifig can pick up his Artifakt. When this happens, roll a die and refer to this table. On a 1, the minifig dies by having his soul consumed by the artifact. On a 6, the minifig becomes a Hero. On anything else, the artifakt loses its power and becomes a normal item. Replace the piece that represents it if need be.

Examples of Artifakts:
-Darth Maul's Lightsaber
-Arthas' Frostmourne
-Achilles's Shield
-Ocelot's Single Action Army
-Marcus's Lancer

Sweet idea!

More examples:
My Glamdring
Harry Potter's invisibility cloak
Merlin's golden machine gun (From merlin's revenge: a dandy little flash game)
Kurt Cobain's custom jagmaster
Cameron's dad's Ferrari
A Wizard is never late. Nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

actually, maybe a re-distribution of the dice is in order.

1 = opposite team of hero
5 = same team as hero
6 = mind unchanged

everything else is just regular weapon.

For the really powerful Artifakts there should be a chance that the power is too great for the minifig to control, and his mind gets fried.

Examples of such Artifakts:
Abaddon's Drachn'yen
Zeus' Lightning Bolt
Sauron's Ring

How about this table, using a d10.

1-2=Become the hero, join original owner's team.
3-4=Get powers of hero, but keep personality and affiliation.
5=Mind gets fried, turn into a grotesque.
6-9=Nothing.
10=Become anti-hero and join enemy's team

because tables are annoying, to be honest.

The only rolls on any die that are ever noteworthy are the criticals, be it success or failure. Usually, it's just best to assign special events to one of these two results, and if anything else happens, who cares.

Now that I think about it, the team-switching thing is pretty lame of an idea. therefore...

1 = weapon consumes the soul of the minifig and they are reduced to a pile of ashes.
6 = minifig becomes a hero
anything else = who cares, it's a sword.

Meh, I don't particularly care either way, and yours is simpler. I'll use yours.

I think that's enough. Good job, though.
