Patrick and Fahim decide it is best to leave the peasant and his problem alone. As Fahim takes the man aside and inspires him to solve his own problems, Aoshi and Hammermann choose to help.


"You two will really help? Oh, that fills me with joy indeed!" says the man delightedly. "Tolf will be especially glad to talk to the man with the hammer!"
The peasant looks at Fahim and Patrick. "Are you sure you don't want to help? Mountain Home is not too far from here and we can throw a banquet in your honor once Tolf is gone."

Really does seem like a minor problem these villagers could take care of themselves. But I'm good either way. If we decide to move on, I'll give the dude that speech. If we stay, I'll shrug amicably and ask him to lead the way, telling him we can't afford to stay very long as we have a friend of our own in need.

Again, I vote to go with the rider (after giving the peasant the spiel) but I'll go along with the majority on this one.

Patrick says quietly to Fahim, "I'll go with the rider to Myrindol, and start things rolling there." His face clouds with indecision. "I... suppose you should probably help this man, but I can't without risk of being found out. I'll see you in Myrindol."
Patrick walks over to the man on the horse.

It would be nice if we could help the man, but we can't allow him to slow our progress to finding Marko. Maybe the rider could wait while we help the man?

All right fella's, here's the scoop. I got pretty busy again with another project, so I won't be able to post the results anytime soon. But rest assured, you're going with the rider to Myrindol. The peasant can take care of himself.

There's another update for LDD coming out in a few weeks, so I'll start this up again when it arrives. Until then, think about your life and where you're headed. Are you making wise decisions based on reasoning and fact? Are your relationships with your friends and loved ones rewarding and meaningful? What is your general outlook on life? If it's bad, how can you change it?
