Though given that Lego made a Darth Revan minifig, it seems that they think KOTOR isn't too old.

Yeah but the movies are like, so mainstream dude. Even poor kids who have never even seen a television living in Africa know what Star Wars is. KoTOR on the other hand is not as well known across the world.
