Emeria, as represented by El Presidente Briggs, would like to put forth a measure to grant Mobfather Scratch of the International Space Mafia, a valued trade partner to EPÉEN and the Suzerain Overlords of Emeria, the honorary title of "Grand Poobah of EPÉEN." This position would give the Mobfather a cool little plaque to hang on his wall and a fancy hat to wear at official EPÉEN meetings.

The Avokhan vote against. We are loathe to give any more power to the ISM, having already allowed them to control our underworld. A simple name and chair may give more power to this man, simply because of his power outside of this hall. We do not trust him. The ISM is not a proper nation, and should be treated as such.

For one, we must not give the ISM more access to our meetings any more than they have through Emeria. Because they are not a nation, they cannot have a reperesentative at our meetings, so no Poobah. They are our... Ahem... "trade partners", and nothing more.

Also, I updated the wiki page with an explanation as to why the Avokhan are voting this way.
