Got the CCBS Gali. Pretty nice gal, tbh.

Noice. I have Gali coming in the mail tomorrow, along with Pohatu and Onua.

I'm sad to say I bought Onua and Gali purely for use of their ball-joint pieces. They make pretty nice builds, though. Onua is a hefty fellow.

Just assembled them.
Pohatu was disappointing. His build is very basic and... he's tiny. And his weapons keep falling apart when I try to take them off his feet.
Gali is cool. I like the new shade of blue, and the mermaid fins kinda work.
Onua though. Jebus. He's massive. His weapon is a lot shorter than I was expecting though.
Overall, I'm happy with how this wave turned out with the variation between each build. though I'm a little sad that they don't have a more standard color scheme like the original Toa.
Lewa is still my favorite.

I just got some new RAM for my computer. Bumped it from 4GB to 16GB.

Went to Chapters and felt through an entire box of random minifigures. For my efforts I received five space marines, a carpenter and the goblin (all I wanted from him was his bag :))

I feel so self conscious feeling up the bags. All I want is 1 more space marine so I can make a squad of 4!

Not so much about the set itself, but:

I Can Build Again! by Bryan Rombough, on Flickr

As the title says: I CAN BUILD AGAIN!

I broke my left shoulder very badly in May (had to have reconstructive surgery, I now have a plate and a dozen pins & screws in my shoulder), and I've only recently started light physiotherapy. I still can't move my shoulder very much, but as an experiment I bought a very simple set at a local store and I can handle lego again. :D
