What do you mean by playable? It has the standard 16 points of articulation as my other small frame mecha:
If you meant it for tabletop, not so much! I usually go design first and crunch second. Also the beam cannon's barrel can rotate so there's that.

Oh, I guess what I meant is: Does it want to break apart when you move it or are the joints fairly secure?

Oh! Apart from sometimes popping apart at the waist (single stud connection can do that) there's enough friction to keep things together. More or less it can posed like any action figure.
