Pretty much yeah, they're different powers/powerups. They can also be scanned for the app game to unlock abilities there as well.

I wish I could say the same, but nah. The bear has very limited articulation and the transformation gimmick isn't convincing. Maybe when I get my hands on the Nexo King Mech.
