Okay, I'm getting kind of jealous of all the build time you have. I've GOT all of those parts and more, I just don't have the TIME. Ah, the joys of adulthood. Getting a FT job, buying a house, doing yardwork and repairs and all the time-stealing crap that owning a house implies...

Enough of that crap. Time for me to get building. The only question is, do I look for an unclaimed section of Medievo and make a faction for THAT, or just work on the Menagerie's tech-locked core world?

Where you base your faction is entirely up to you. Most of my factions are on 'my part of' Medivo (obviously) but the Falx for example come from other worlds (like Estius, the only one I've named so far) through portals.

What you come up with to explain any lack of technical advancement or whether you even choose to explain it is totally up to you. Most big and popular fantasy universes have gone without any explanation about why after thousands of years intelligent species are still using exactly the same weapons and no one's invented electricity or something.

Then again humanity started basic agriculture roughly 7000 years ago so that still gives you a lot of time to work with when making history for your fictional world.

I think we've discussed some future story hooks via PMs so you need to dig up those (or have me resend them if they're still around).

Sure, go ahead! Anything up to steam powered-ish should be fine and in line with current 'canon'. More advanced stuff can always be explained away as being "magitek".

Yeah I remembered and re-read it shortly after I posted. Hard to believe he's not made any appearance since 2012. Maybe the explosion of the portal actually killed him?

Added new, smoother railing. Looks nicer overall, and frees up some space for more orks to pile on.



Also added a winch. Winches are always cool.
