I don't think that's saying that it's coming back, merely an allusion to them. There are plenty of allusions in the new Space Police sets.

I recognize some pretty serious old-school Space fans in that crowd, I bet they'll try to sneak some in if it's possible. But the video doesn't say whether they get to add their own decals if they're not in the game already.

the monorail system is shown in the backround of one of the ADs but the person who filmed it said "i just thought it would make nice backing" so much of this is the designer saying "hey, you know the lego fans would like to be able to make a combine of BT1 and BT2 (it looks like the BT1 suit but the logo looks BT2, 1+2=3) to make them happy"

old themes comeing back normally ruins them, lego changes the pieces change the ideas change, who would be the good guys? (unless you count them as good)

yeah, just one faction a year, black tron and exploians (i think) where the first to fight each other (it was shown in an AD i think).
i think remove the aliens as "evil" and replace it with good old "minifigure vs minifigure" style, or just minifigures in space!
the return of the large dome would be nice.

I don't think Explorien or Blacktron were around during the same time period at all. It's all about Blacktron vs. Futron and Unitron.

Yeah, the background stank but there were some nice Lego parts. The model sets, hummm, were o-k-ish.

the domes quaters arnt that usfull untill you have 4, i only have 1 trans-yellow one(i keep it in a plastic bag in a box since a replacement would be buying a Message interception base(the only reason i have one is that my dad had it when he was young) many pieces are missing but i have the instructions, might try to rebuild it, buying pieces from brick link to fill the gaps).

two pararel minifigure space themes set in the same setting but with only 1 fraction in each set, less guns (MM was meant to be mineing so why did they come with guns before they knew about the aliens!) and less vehicle based, some small robots for impulses would be nice, small space ships for the smaller sets, then maybe larger ones (with landing areas with crator baseplates!) and finally a base built ON BASEPLATES.
Space has become too vehicle based, BRING BACK the BASEPLATES BBB.
