Imperiya /Im-peer-iya/ (Monolyth Script: империя) is a faction from the Monolith Battleplates and is considered to be the largest and most powerful of the known factions of the realm. Much of their identity was drawn and created from the former Galacian Imperiya, from which it also gets it's name.

Background

Imperiya was formed in the aftermath of the dissolution of the group known as the Citizen's Protection Alliance, or simply Alliance. A group of warriors and soldiers who banded together under one insignia to protect the peaceful civilians from Bandits, Raiders, Mutants and Demons. later though, In what was known as the Ostasha Betrayal, an Alliance general sold out the faction to the Black Legion of the Damned. Alliance troopers were slaughtered and when it was over. The generals pointed fingers at one another, accusing each other of being the traitor. The Alliance began to split apart and even came to blows, with small skirmishes.

Both factions were fed false information by the Black Legion into believing the other's commanders were holed up in the City of Sukia, the largest civilized region known at the time. And thus began a large scale battle between the warring Alliance factions. However while they whittled each other down, the Black Legion ambushed both of them, slaughtering them again and killing many of the the leaders of the Alliance.

Despite knowing full well they had been tricked into fighting each other, the warring factions of the now dead Alliance, had come to hate each other just as much as the Savage Black Legion. They retreated away from the destroyed city, while gangs of bandits and mercenaries took over the ruins. The two warring factions reorganized into the OSKOM and Imperiya. One sporting black, the other white. Two sides of the same coin. And they kept killing each other while they fought over the affection of the towns and cities that dotted the Plates

Ethos & Objectives

Out of all the factions of the Monolith Battleplates, with the exception of the city-states themselves, Imperiya is the most concerned with establishing a permanent dominion and maintaining a government over civilians. The reasoning not out of a desire to be bureaucratic or benevolent. But out of a paranoid agenda to maintain security and order throughout the cities to keep the minifigs docile, and otherwise not joining Gangs or Cults. Imperiya goes so far as to train militias of villages and towns to police the regions it can't be bothered with.

Imperiya seeks to fight the forces of disorder and mayhem. But at the same time, opposes any group that may challenge it's position. Fighting against savages, gangs, and other armies for sport. Their engineers constantly create war machines and weapons out of raw materials scavenged from the wastes, and scientists occasionally make portals to raid other dimensions.

Imperiya is also notorious for employing locals from towns and villages, and training them into auxiliary security forces. All with the intention of spreading "Order" throughout the world with as many allies as possible.

Leadership

Unlike other factions of the Battleplates, Imperiya does not have one leader, But two. Two Leaders, Sergachev and Varone, who backed up by a trio of generals, Shulga*, Tachenko and Deeja, who together count as a tie breaking vote. All five make up the "High Command" whom give out orders to other regional commanders and their officers, Who are too many to name. And with constant deaths and promotions, it's too difficult to keep track of anyone but the high command.

Division

Because it is so large, the Imperiya faction periodically breaks into semi-independent, sometimes bickering and quarreling factions behind different Commanders. The Khrabrost Imperiya is regarded as the true Headquarters region of the Faction at large, While other groups have temporarily splintered off in their own regions or even other realms. One such example is the Omega Imperiya who maintain a presence on the Omega Plate, and are traditionally cut-off from the other factions. Another notable faction is the Lazarus Imperiya, a small faction that has left the Monolith Plates and maintains a small presence in the Galaxia Nehellenium in the vicinity of the former Gold Sector. This was thought to be of some sentimental value to them, but there may be more sinister things at play there.

Factions outside of the Monolith plates, will often refer to all of the Imperiya factions from the plates as the Monolith Imperiya, however such a term is just a mildly specific umbrella term for groups such as Khrabrost and Omega

Military

Imperiya has two main divisions.

  • Armiya - The Ground Forces
  • Flota - The Fleet Forces

Armiya

The Imperiya Armiya is experienced, sophisticated, and uptight. Deploying large units of Regular, Veteran, Elite and Special Forces soldiers. And lots of heavy Armor and transports.

Armiya Troops

Regular Troops (D6 Skill, 4 Armor)

Unit Notes
Grreg (1).jpg Troopers a decentley equipped, and trained, albeit poorly motivated conscript force that makes up the bulk of Imperiya Occupations. Grreg (2).jpg Combat Medik specialist unit that are apart of the Regular squads who's job is to keep their squads in fighting condition whilst on the battlefield.
Grreg (3).jpg Weapons Specialist specialist unit that are apart of the Regulars. Bringing a big weapon like a heavy machinegun or heavy RPG to boost a squad's firepower.
