WARNING! the following post contains an idea thought up in less than ten seconds, and might not be completely thought through.
I would like to see a dungeoncrawl game in minifig scale. each player would have your fig and a few legodice, and using cards and special powers you would be able to alter the make-up of each fig's dice for a better chance at a high/low score, or special events.
LEGO would sell bigger sets with dungeon pieces, and small sets like the ninjago spinners containing a fig, several weapons/tools/gadgets, some cards, a stat card, and tiles for the lego dice that belong with the fig's powers or the card that come with the set. (not sure if each set should contain a lego die itself, you'd end up with a lot of them. which is of course not necessarily a bad thing)
if the character creation thing turns out to be good an balanced, and the game becomes popular, lego could encourge minifig customisation with some sort of make your own minifig kit, which comes with some printer compatible sticker paper sheets, 5 blank minifigs in several colours (or only head and torso) and a cd with a simple design program. (maybe a professional kit too?)
- I refuse to be stopped by something as irrelevant as logic, the laws of physics, or common sense -
if 20 chickens can fit in a brick, how many pingpongballs does a crocodile have to eat so it can swim faster than a washing machine?
