The guys at Brickmania are re-launching their Micro Tank Battle game from the past couple years of World War Brick conventions as the new and improved Micro Brick Battle, now with an updated rulebook and a supporting line of mini tank kits for sale. Micro Brick Battle has a more streamlined rule system and a more specific focus on 1:120 scale WWII military conflicts than you may have come to expect from other brick-based wargames you might be familiar with. The $30 rulebook includes detailed building instructions for a whopping forty-four 1:120 scale WWII tanks from seven countries. |

We’ve tried selling out a couple of times before, but for some reason sales of our Nega Bloks lingerie and BrikThulhu yoga pants never took off. (Although shockingly, sales figures in both cases were more than zero by literal integers, exceeding our projected estimates by more than seventeen thousand percent!) But this time! This time we’ve got something everybody likes: STICKERS. Put them on your laptop, put them on your dog, put them on police officers. BrikStickers are the gift that keeps on giving exactly one time because they’re not reusable! |

Anybody who was here ten years ago will remember the day BrikWars sold out, with our wildly successful underwear sale on Thongs of the Nega-BlokTrix, boasting sales figures solidly in the low single digit (Thanks Jenn!) and making us the wealthy one-aires we are today. We’ve never repeated this singular event, largely because we didn’t realize it was possible to make yoga pants out of BrikWars paintings. UNTIL NOW!

Brikwars is a great war-game in so many ways and I hope I represented our community well. To discuss any stuttering or factual errors I made, please visit this forum topic. |

I’m loving all of Bluefog’s battles at the moment and all of you should check them out. First one that caught my eye is his awesome “Battle of the Seven Seas”. The ships are fantastic as is that skull island. Next is “Defend Women and Children” which features a great battlefield with…ROOMS! Yes that’s right, rooms. I love rooms and it really is a testimony to the amount of long 1 X whatever bricks are in Bluefog’s collection. Last of all, and my favorite: Pinky Pie’s Revenge. With a map that is haphazardly thrown together and a giant , non-lego figure in the middle this battle really showcases what Brikwars is all about. |

Tim Schwalfenberg has some put together some incredible scenes. The first two photos are of his amazing StarCraft diorama, and the third is titled ‘Cyber Slums’. Check out his full flickr gallery for the rest of his work.

Some apocalypse scenes for your Friday viewing pleasure. My favorite has to be Olivia’s house all boarded up and run down. Someone needs to make a Brikwars army full of those weird looking mini-dolls. They’d have great looking hair while being blown to smithereens.

Just a reminder that you can gain more Brikwars goodness from subscribing to the official subreddit or by following our pintrest feed curated by none other than Lord Rayhawk himself. That’s right, Mike takes time away from washing his yacht and gargling his prize winning greyhounds to bring you the best plastic construction toy violence the net has to offer. |
