Bunn: Ministry of Defence Headquarters

A businessman enters the room with a laptop in hand.
"Dr. Lyen, do you have a moment?"

"Only five minutes Mr. Kling; I've got a schedule to keep."

"Then I shall be brief."

"As you know, my company has kept the Bundeswehr equipped with state of the art weapons, armour, and vehicles since the very inception of your nation. Because of the relationship between our political entities, you have direct access to the latest technology we have to offer."

"... And you came all this way to show some artwork?"

"(Chuckles) Of course not! What you are currently looking at is an upgrade package to the Leopard 2A6 main battle tank. This would ensure complete slat armour coverage (save the front) and a new camo scheme."
"Interesting."

"This here is an armour package that can be distributed to your career soldiers. Made of lightweight materiel, it does an excellent job of protecting the infantryman from small arms fire, while not affecting the tactical mobility of the unit."

"And finally, my personal favourite: the Stryker V missile system. With a range of 18" and a maximum payload of 6d10, this truly is the most potent of infantry-portable weapon systems."

"Why hasn't this then been made available to NATO nations? Some of our European allies would kill for an advantage such as this!"

"... There have been reports that the USSSR has been disregarding the sovereignty of multiple Eastern Europa nations. If my company were to be found supporting their enemies-"

"Damn you und* your politics! Do you not realise what is happening? If Poland and her allies are to fall, Deutschland* is the only nation strong enough to hope to withstand an assault from the Soviets! What is the point of developing these advanced systems if our allies who are in dire need of an advantage can't tap into our vast armouries!"

(Through gritted teeth) "ABS Systems cannot be found directly supporting a war abroad. That said, if you chose to purchase one of our systems and then donate it to a friend, we may not notice."

"Yet again you try to make a profit without getting your hands... egal*."

"Sorry to interupt ma'am, but there's a communication for you regarding-"

"I'll be there at once. If you'll excuse me Mr. Kling, I must depart. However, I will consider your equipment proposal."

Dr. Lyen makes her way down the corridor, with a Heer* officer in tow.

"She's quite a character, isn't she.
...Well, I must be off. Guten Abend* Colonel."

"Guten Abend Sir."
